2FeSO4(s) <-> Fe2O3(s) SO3(g) SO2(g)

SO3(g) <-> SO2(g) 1/2 O2(g)

After equilibrium is reached, total pressure is 0.836 atm and partial pressure of oxygen is 0.0275 atm.

Calculate Kp for each of the reactions. Work doesn't have to be tediously showed just understandably.

  1. Kp=Kc(RT)delta n

    delta n = # of gas moles on the right - # of gas moles on the left

    R=0.08206 Latm/moleK (constant)

    Kc= equilibrium constant

    Use boyle's law of gases to calulate T for this equation or substitute. P= T/V
