  1. well, you have to change the 6.2 kg into newton so basically multiply by 10 which is 62 and now multiply 62 with the 50m which should equal to 3100joules

  2. PE = 1/2*mgh

    so here's how to do it:

    m=6.2x10^6kg

    g=9.81

    h=50

    50x6.2x10^6x9.81=3041100000

    the change in potential energy is 3.04x10^9 times 0.5

    ans:1.52x10^9

    hope this helps!
