  1. no. of moles= concentration(moles/L) x volume (L)

                      = 0.1 moles/L x 5.0L

                      = 0.5 moles

    no. of moles = mass (g)/ molar mass (g/moles)

               mass = no. of moles x molar mass

                        = 0.5 moles x (40.08 + 2 x 35.45) moles/ g

                        = 0.5 x 110.98 g

                        = 44.49 g
