  1. density = mass/volume, mass = density*volume

    density of lead = 11.34 g/cm^3

    volume of the sphere is 4/3*pi*r^3.... i take it you mean 12.0cm to mean the raduis of the sphere, in that case, the volume is

    4/3*pi*12^3 = 7241.1429cm^3

    mass = 11.34 g/cm^3 * 7241.1429cm^3 = 82114.56g = 82.11456kg =

    82114.56*2.2 = 180652.032pounds

  2. Density of the material is required to answer this!!
