b) 0.250 M of HCN

  1. You have to take the log(a) and log(b) on your calculator to find the solutions pH.

    Definition: pH = -log[H+]

    So just take -log(.250) and you should get the pH (from 0-14)

    both solutions have the same pH, i don't have a calculator on hand but just use the equation.
