how to calculate the [H] when CH3COOH dissociates to CH3COOH^ H* (^ representing a - sign and * a sign) we are given the acid dissociation constant of 1X10*-5 and the concentration of CH3COOH of 0.5M. please can someone tell me how to do it?

  1. (H+) = sqrt Ka*Ca= sqrt 1x10-5*0.5=0,00223

    pH = 2,7
