renting a uhaul truck, 26 footer traveling from MD to Fla. Not sure of MPG but at 2.85 per gallon traveling 750 miles and the truck holds 60 gallons how much is the total?

    I answered most of your question in the previous question, but I found the U-haul data page for the 26 foot truck.  U-Haul estimates 6-8 mpg for gasoline trucks.  At 750 miles, that puts fuel consumption at 95-125 gallons.  Using your price of 2.85/gallon, that makes your cost $270-350, depending on your actual mpg.

    Your friend wasn't far off.
