Calculator/pda that also allows me to type?

Question

is there some kind of device that is small or at least the size of a calculator that can allow me to do calculations and also type information/to do lists into it. although a pda comes to mind, i dont want anything as expensive. any help will be appreciated as I need something like it for my new engineering job

Well if you do want a PDA you should get the Samsung BlackJack II its small with a full QWERTY keyboardand calculator for $50 with a 2 year agreement. If you JUST need a calculator then a TI 84 is an excellent clculator. I have the TI 84 plus silver edition that works very well however costs $115.

depends on your taste and needs but Graphic calculator TI-84  for a serious work (or any other calculator) comes into my mind.. (From Texas Instruments.. they are useful.. :) and less complicated versions are available..
