Calculus question. Please help!!!!?

Question

If a marble were rolling toward a wall in such a way that the distance between the marble and the wall were cut in half every three seconds, when will the marble hit the wall? Discuss.

you have an exponential function with base = 1/2

y = K*(1/2)^(t/3) .. . . for some constant value K.

technically, this will not reach y = 0

but you can argue for the radius of the marble (since a marble is not exactly a point)
