Calendar Events that members can edit - How To???

Question

I hope someone can help me. I created a group for my hockey team to see who is going to be at each game. I play old guy hockey, and we have 8 full time skaters and 4 part timers, and want to always play with exactly 10 skaters. I created calendar events for each upcoming game, but had to make all members moderators so they could edit. we have a few subs also, so I basically have a group of all moderators. I hit the limit, and I can't add any more moderators. Is there a better way to do this?? Many thanks for any input....

you can only have 15 moderators- and only they can edit calendar events someone else create. there is no better way or another option- sorry
