  1. You will be at sea for 4 days.

  2. Ill recommend you carnival.com

If you are millitary they have awesome discounts.

  3. check http://allcruiselines.info

they should have an answer for you

  4. Typically the cruise ships leave Los Angeles or San Diego around 4:00 - 5:00pm.  The ships then spend the next four full days at sea, arriving in Hawaiian waters the morning of the fifth day.

However, these are round trip cruises.  One way cruises, going from "California" to Hawaii actually leave from Ensenada, Mexico.

  5. A great travel website for cruises is at

    "Amazing Tours and Travel"

The shortest cruise from CA is 14 days. If you want a shorter cruise around the islands, you will need to fly to Honolulu.

  6. I would recommend booking through http://galaxy.joystar.com

I beleive there giving away a free gift for every booking

  7. It's generally a 15 day cruise...on the return the ship will stop sompelace in Mexico...usually Ensenada...it's a law that the ship must dock at a port outside of the US....

  8. I just returned from this trip. Once a year RCCL books a repositioning cruise from CA that is a 15 night circle cruise, returning to CA.  Most others depart from Ensenada and are about 11 days. This is subject to change and frequently does. These are always popular cruises and sell out very quickly. Because they are popular, the earlier you book the better the deal you get as far as  pricing as the price continuously rises - supply and demand!  We got a great group deal at www.bluemoontx.com. No service fees plus group amenities.

The one thing that we really liked about cruising to Hawaii is that we spent two days in Maui, two days in Oahu, one day in Hilo and one day in Kona. I called it the sampler packet! Now we know which areas we like best and our next trip over will be a land trip. But we never could have afforded to do what we did had we booked just a land trip. Good luck to you!
