  1. Even if it did happen, and that's a big "IF", the courts are not concerned about children but merely about the school districts getting money. The courts don't care if teachers walk out on strike and deprive students of an education, they could care less if a student beats the h**l out of another or shoots up a school, or if a teacher molests another student, it's all about money.

"IF" it passes, the California schools are going to need all that money to cover law suits by the parents for the decisions based upon an incompetent judge.

  2. There was no proposal to get rid of homeschooling in California.  There was a ruling by the Second Appeals Court saying that all children must be taught by a credentialed teacher (or the equivalent, whatever that is).  The ruling resulted in such a firestorm of protest, including the from the  Governor and the Superintendent of Public

Instruction, and a quarter of a million members of the public who signed a petition to the Supreme Court, that the Appeals Court vacated its original ruling and agreed to hear the case again, this time with more accurate information.

You can read all about it in the link I have provided.

  3. home schooling will never be illegal in California most virtual academy's are the California curriculum

  4. wowa!!!!!!

  5. It isn't a proposal.  It was one judge in one court case.   Now that case has been vacated and they are hearing it again.

Homeschooling will not become illegal in California.
