California Bus Fare...?

In light of the rising gas prices, a lot of people are resorting to taking the bus, but it's only a matter of time before the fare goes up. The bus fare on the MTA in the Los Angeles area, went up $2 on the daily pass a few months back, and it appears that it will go up again. How will this affect you if you take the bus?

Compared to the rise in the prices of gas, the rise in bus fares is nothing.  I don't think it will matter too much except to the poor.  If you could afford to drive before the gas prices went up, you should be able to afford the increase in bus fares.
