California DMV driving record question

so i was involved in a accident on 12-2-07 , thereafter i took driving school to avoid having point put on my license and keeping the accident off my driving record i was assuming. Im 19 years old and applying for a valet parking position and they needed a print out of my driving record for the past 5 years, well that accident comes up on the report, is this in error or should it not be shown cause i took driving school, can someone help me out. cause i remember when i took driving school the first thing the instructor said was, i no why your all here , not cause u got in a accident , but so you get a accident off your record.

Check with your DMV. In Florida, taking the class removes points and even the recording of the violation.
