I recently quit my job with a nation wide retailer. I won't say which. I gave my 2 weeks notice in a letter of resignation. Which I have a copy of. Now my last day wast to be May 31, and I have yet to receive my final paycheck. I am being told through the human resources department that I will not receive my paycheck until June 6. I know that they are not supposed to take this long and that they face penalties by doing this to me. So my question is what are the consequences they face for this?
