California Swim Requirement

Is there really a High School Swim Requirement in California? I heard you dont have to do it if you request a waiver from the school and have your parents sign it.

Yes, you can waiver out of it if you have a medical condition. Just get you parents to sign saying you have a messed up leg or something, if you really dont want to swim. Swimming isnt really that hard, you should try it.
