California VACATION SUGGESTIONS??????

My family really want to go to California for a couple days, but we're having trouble deciding where to go. We want somewhere probably in Napa. If you could suggest some good (and somewhat inexpensive!) hotels, family activities, and sites, that would be really great. Thank you!!

You can try the Napa Redwood Inn, its reasonable (for Napa).  Best bargains are in actual town of Napa.  Places up in St. Helena or around there are pricier for sure.  They've spruced up downtown Napa city as well.  A new riverwalk, a nice indoor marketplace building with good food stalls, that kind of thing.

Napa is famous for its wineries and world class restaurants.  You can also enjoy hot air ballooning, mud baths, the wine train, COPIA, biking, and horseback riding.

HESS Collection has a modern art museum that is fun....and it's free.
