California adventures?

when i went to disneyland in december, one of the workers there told me that they would be closing down/rennovating the california adventures park. now the problem is, i'm going with one of my close friends to disneyland/california adventures in august of 2010, so i want to know if it will be closed down then. can anyone give me as much information as they can about the rennovation?

They will be remodeling/expanding California Adventure.  However, it will not be closed during this time.  They will just close certain areas, keeping the rest of the park open, while they are working on them.

Although, I really would not worry about 2010 yet.  As even since this was first announced it has changed quite a bit.  So there will still be quite a few changes until they get really into the bulk of the project.

They're not closing down the entire park. They're just doing one section at a time.
