Look into Moor Park College outside of LA.  It's a small Zoo setting that trains not only for Zoologists but how to train exotic animals.  Wait...unless you perfer to persue training or like domestic animals...you can start by getting a job that works with animals cause just to do the job you have to be able to be in controll.. So they show you moves on how to train the animal to listen.  Usually those jobs are gateways on how the next step.  You can become a trainer within those jobs and have the opp. to transfer.  But for exotic animals, Moorpark is awesome.  It's a small college that interacts highly with the public.  And after graduation your crudentials are excellent!
