California checkpoints????/??

Question

I am driving from phoenix to California with friends and family I will be a passenger. I have a misdemeanor Traffic warrant. Are there checkpoints driving from phoenix to California that check for warrants on passengers ??

No they do not check for warrants and that type of stuff.  They are mainly agricultural check points to make sure you are not bringing certain foods (like Oranges) that could have disease and ruin their crops.  However if you all get pulled over the police officer can check anyone in the car so just be warned.  Keep your seat belt on, have your friends obey the speed limits and make sure you follow the law.  I have been through the check points several times if you take fruits or veggies make sure that the inspectors can get to them they could ask to see them.  Good luck and have a great trip!

nope, make sure your driver keeps it safe, buckle those seatbelts, talk with a bluetooth, avoid getting stopped by the police.
