What is the name of the food where they have a thin tortia shell that they steam press and put nutella and banannas or cheese and eggs?

  1. Sounds like a quesadilla - flour tortillas, usually cheese and green chiles.  But you can put in anything you like, including shredded chicken, beef, etc.  It is sort of like a crepe so you could use the same fillings.


  2. Definitely crepes. But they are more like a pancake than a tortilla, and are not steamed. Rather, they are made on a skillet or griddle from a runny batter, then topped with bananas and nutella, strawberries and whipped cream, butter and apples, cheese and mushrooms, or any other combination of ingredients before being folded over.

    And not Californian either. Crepes originated in France, though many cultures have adopted them and have put their own twist on it.

  3. i think you are thinking of crepes. and it's not california food, you can get it anywhere and it originated in france, i believe.
