I just need to know the monthly cost of health insurance in california, for a school project. If you know how much dental costs it would be nice if you could tell me that also.

That's a hard question to answer.  Do you mean someone who is covered by a health plan?  Someone who had to get insurance on their own?  How old are the people?  What is their medical condition?  

Dental insurance on conjunction with a medical plan usually costs about $25/month.

The cost for a California health insurance plan for 2 people will vary quite a bit depending upon: the age of the applicants, the deductible on the plan, whether the plan is a group plan or an individual plan, and many other things.

Generally speaking:

The older the applicant the more expensive the plan will be.

The lower the deductible the more expensive the plan will be.

California individual health insurance is much cheaper than California group health insurance.
