You have it backwards. The public schools lose millions of dollars every year because kids do not attend schools. They are paid a set amount per child per day. They get nothing if a child is homeschooled, unless the kid is enrolled in a charter school that oversees the homeschooling program.

The new law does not affect these charter school/homeschool programs because there are certified teachers overseeing them. It only affects parents who are doing it on their own, so those kids are not adding any money to the public school system.

All they really care about is getting the money for each student.  They really don't care how they will be able to teach them all.  It's not enough that homeschoolers still pay taxes toward public schools but they want more money for each student that they have and who cares about the kids.

Truly, the judge who made this decision is not the most rational or informed individual. Even if this had occurred to him, he'd have most likely stood by his biases rather than with the facts.

I agree with greengo. they are so stupid and greedy that they want you to attend public schools and pay them money, while also making it boring for those of us still in school.
