California motorcycle permit test?

Question

im taking the permit test tomorrow and want to know how many questions on on the test, number of questions i can get wrong, and are the questions basically common sense or do i have to read to whole motorcycle booklet to pass the test?

I believe that there are 20 questions. You can get 6 wrong, if i remember correctly.

Make sure that you read about some of that stuff online before taking the test. It's easy to fail it if you don't know what kind of answers they are expecting. The following I remember I got wrong:

If you are on your bike on a dark road, and there is a car infront of you, you should follow the car at a reasonable distance so that you can use its headlights to see ahead.

Your lane position will vary; on most of the pictures, it's the position furthest away from other cars.

Don't say that you would drive in the middle of the road - that's where the oil slicks are.

READ the whole booklet anyway, because it contains information that MAY keep you alive, that is if you remember it after the test.  225 questions, and you need two hundred right to pass the test.
