What forms and recourse is there against someone who violates court orders, specifically family law custody and visitation orders, i.e. refusal of contact with children?

  1. Violation of a family law court order is taken very seriously.  Call the police and file a police report.  Violation of a court order comes under 2 main sections in CA:  Penal Code sections 166 and 270.  Also, you may petition the family law court and alert them to the violation.  File a "Modification of Court Order" and state the reasons... violating a ct order.
