It'll slide up, down, I can even push them back and forth a little but the F^%$ers wont budge off... What can i do to remove them.. I dont have C clamps either is that my problem?

  1. You need to get a C Clamp. You need one to put it on the outer brake pad and the rear of the caliper,to press the cylinder in as far as it will go in,then take the c clamp off,and if you have to,use a hammer to hit the caliper off, take the front pad off,but leave the rear pad on the caliper, and put the c clamp on it and the back of the caliper, then press the cylinder in.then take the rear pad off.Where the bolts are, some have bolt sleeves you have to press back in also.

  2. if its your front brakes the old pads are probably catching on a lip of the worn  rotor edge, if so try to pull the caliper toward you really heard to try to squeeze the piston and pad into the caliper, then lift it str8 up ...you can also use a large channel lock pliers to squeeze the pad and piston int the caliper first.  good luck

  3. if they are the rears, remove the emergency brake

  4. it's time to do your brake job . get new brake calipers .
