Call Me Freddie keen to earn second IR victory
On October 31, in his very first IR outing named as BAGS Track Championship Sprint, Call Me Freddie marvellously finished first by three lengths----he was the 9-4 favourite for that race.
Tonight again, the A. Heyes trained black dog will run another IR race with the same title at Nottingham course of 305 metres. The punters have again picked him as a favourite candidate for the £200 contest.
It is greatly hoped that the two-year-old veteran hound will be able to win quite convincingly tonight. All of his fans are confident of his success, and Heyes too expects a thumping performance from the young and energetic runner.
The maverick sprinter’s career stats are preoccupied with triumphs. Along with this, he has many runner-up ranks and a few thirds to his name. Thus, he has been on the podium for most of the times since debuting in February 2012.
The best thing about the dog is that he has proved his class in all the major formats of the game. Usually, he has come up to the expectations of the bettors who stake their money on him. Thus, he poses to be a reliable and strong runner.
The talented son of Ballymac Kewell out of Ballymac Angel delivered some classy performances during the last three months. On August 17, he nicely won an A2 race by beating the hot favourite rival, The Big I Am, at Belle Vue.
He finished first by a neck’s margin in the very next race named as Leo & Pat Branagh Memorial Trophy. Winning the Jayne Hey Birthday Stakes on September 13 was also a big achievement of the enthusiastic dog.
Despite all these factors, Call Me Freddie will have to face the wrath of Moyar Rambler who picked up immense momentum by winning a T2 race on November 5.
Earlier, the J. Andrews trained black dog had won an A1 race on October 24. As a whole, he has a number of triumphs to his credit.
It is anticipated that Moyar Rambler and Call Me Freddie will compete neck-to-neck, however, the latter has higher chances to thrive. Good luck to the both.
