Call Of Duty 4 Map Pack PS3???

For sooooooo long, the variety map pack for cod4 on PS3 has been on the PS Store, but if you have ever wanted to download it, it costs. I have looked on websites saying it will become free in a month (these websites were last updated like 3 months ago), and nothing happened.

Will it ever be free?

And if so, when?

(THIS IS ON PS3 ONLY!!!)
