If  your Filipino gf/bf  has  the complete papers/documents that are  certified and authenticated by the DFA (Department of foreign Affairs)  then there should be no problems  getting married anywhere.  A Filipino  national can get married  outside her country of  origin  provided  all the requirements are meet. Tell  your girl/boy  to check the Philippine Embassy in Hongkong for the requirements for marriage. Good luck.

Philippine laws say: if one is married, even if he/she for some reason re-marries abroad, he/she has committed adultery (polygamy?) so the aggrieved spouse can take legal action (i.e. file a case). Once he/she steps foot back in the Philippines, because of the case filed, the adulterer can be jailed.
