Call from Masters postpones retirement for Harrison Frazar
It was the day Harrison Frazar was not anticipating. On Saturday morning, as the mail arrived at his house, Frazar and his family could only expect it to be the invitation from the Masters event of golf, Augusta National.
This was certainly a breakthrough moment for Harrison Fraser who, a couple of months ago, was ready to quit his career in golf.
There was a point in time when he was searching for an employment in the realty sector.
Little did he know that his recent invitation for participation in the Augusta National would become so meaningful for him, especially in the pursuance of his bread and butter.
His participation and interest in the game further strengthened when Frazar was able to walk away from the PGA Tour last year.
It is also important to mention here that with the help of this invitation, Frazar has finally grabbed the opportunity of participating in the mega event of Tournament of Champions that will kick off on Friday.
An interesting fact about the event is that Frazar is amongst the extremely few players who will be competing in the tournament against players who are in their amateur stage of 20’s.
In such a situation, it is important for Frazar to prove his mettle but that does not imply that he can underestimate their potential to any extent.
On the contrary, it is Frazar who has to bring himself in complete momentum, as at one point in time, he was seriously considering the option of quitting his career in golf.
So far, Frazar has participated in 354 golf tournaments that took place over a period of more than a decade.
During his low performance era, he decided to consider other options to sustain himself. To a substantial extent, he was triumphant in materialising his objectives, with the help of the other jobs that were offered to him.
However, for Frasar, it was still the golf course that inspired him the most and the place where he wanted to continue his life.
On Christmas, the letter for the participation in the Augusta National arriving a day early, only enhanced the joy of the occasion.
