Call-in radio contests?

Question

This may sound stupid but how do you know if you should retry or stay on the line. I always get a busy signal. A couple times my line went through but nothing happened or it rung and then got cut off. If you win how do you know?

they will pick up the phone and answer it if you win. Keep trying

If you hear a busy signal, then always hang up and hit redial

Keep trying!  The biggest thing is persistence when it comes to radio contests.

keep trying till the signal stops

keep calling untill it rings. if u get a busy signal than hang up and try again.   if u win, someone will pick up the phone and say that u r the winner
