  1. The Bornfree video is 87min long, it's not a 3min low quality  youtube. Those likely to buy it would hardly consider the youtube offering as a suitable alternative.

  2. not as funny as the number of people who mistake heart-rending for some sort of weird cardiac operation involving a wheelbarrow

  3. Yippee - two links for the price of one - and thanks:

    You are a cynic

  4. Okay...you're a cynic!

The event took place in the late seventies and the lion was reintroduced to the wild with the help and advice of George Adamson. Therefore it is no suprise that they should use it to raise funds for an extremely good cause which was set up to continue the work which he and his wife dedicated their lives to.

I remarked , on one of your questions yesterday, that you seem to be very harsh and bitter of late. Should we be concerned?

  5. You're a cynic.

It's a lovely story regardless and if someone can make money from it fair play to them.

Why don't you take that twist out of yer knickers Dave it's constricting the flow of blood to your heart. ;)

  6. And who has just further advertised this product?

Surprising as it may seem, I actually agree with a previous answerer on this, it is a worthy cause as well as being a pleasent change from having to watch some of the carnage that hits the streets these days.

  7. Your making assumptions that it was just placed there aren't you, look it up dave and you will see it was released in 1971, I even seen it on tv in about 1978 or so. In fact it was 79 because it was on just after that willy wonkas chocolate factory and before Wizard of oz on christmas day.

Just one of the sites that mention its release date. sadly my tv station don't show what the programmes were during christmas 1979 so you can go oh the evil people in RTE showed it back then.

edit@ I prefered it to willy wankas chocolate factory and the wizard of oz in case your wondering why I remember it. I think it was the first year that they showed willy wankas idiot factory.

  8. Dave it's a charity and a worthwhile one at that.
