Call of Duty 4 pc problum

Question

hello i have got cod4 on pc and have had it installed for ages. I had to reinstall windows vista home premium and so i installed cod4 again. Now when i play cod4 multiplayer it stops and says this program has stopped responding and single player works fine. I have tryed reinstalling cod4 like 3 times and didnt do nothink. Then i tryed reinstalling windows vista home premium and then installed cod4 and clicked multiplayer and it still said cod4 has stopped responding and i even tryed installing the latest patches and it didnt change anything. The cod4 dvd disc has no scratches or any marks on it so i dont understand what the problum is did anyone have this problum before or could there be a problum with windows vista????

One of the possible problems is that you have to make sure that any programme related to call of duty has to be removed before you start installing it again.

Sometimes this cures the partial problems.
