Call of Duty: World at War?

Question

I'm stoked for this game because i loved modern warfare... its been bagged on pretty hard because it is in WWII though. It runs on Cod4 engine but this one isn't made by IW so I'm really worried about it... it looks to be a great game if the A.I. gets fixed.... My question is it worth the risk as a big Cod fan to preorder this because i will be clawing myself as i think about how everyone has it except me or do i wait and see if people aren't pissing off about it within like 3 days?

The fact both Call of Duty 2 Big Red one and Call of Duty 3 didn't suck, and its not like you won't have enough money til the next Call of Duty

If you're a fan, it'll be worth to have it in your collection

dude, treyarch is making it, dont they have so many fabulous games!!! (sarcasm) its a WWII game with a flamethrower. i would save a little money for it and wait for the reviews from real gamers. if it sucks buy mercs 2.

CoD: World at war certainly won't be revolutionary, but none of the CoD games have been, really.  Like you said, it's built off of the CoD4 engine.       I believe that game play will be similar to Modern Warfare, just with WWII-era weapons.  It even has unlockable bonuses like the previous game did.  I think It wouldn't hurt to preorder, but if you are nervous, you can survive a day or 2 to read reviews.

well its not like it will be sold out or anything so you mine as well wait. i will tell you though another reason people don't like it is because it isn't gonna be made by the people who did call of duty 1,and 4 its by the people who made call of duty 3. the nice thing about it though is that the multiplayer will basically be a ww2 version of cod4's multiplayer so i'd say you'll like if your a hardcore cod4 fan. cod6 is rumored to be set in the future so that will be really good!

If it becomes avail on PC, then yes, better preorder it. It seems all the ones that was avail for PC pwned. So chk xD

It will be amazing.

COD4 was amazing.

5 will up the ante even more.
