Call of duty 4 help?

Hey should i do prestige mode and try to get 10th prestige or get all the golden guns. People have been telling me stay at commander 55 don't do prestige because COD5 is coming out soon but I dont get what they mean by that. Like what happens in COD5 if i stay at commander? I dont get why they want me to stay at commander just because COD5 is coming out soon.

Well to answer this question

If you want to do prestige it will take you a very long time, at least 7 days game time and thats if you really good, but at the end you don't really get anything apart from a nice looking symbol.

If you don't do prestige then you can acquire the golden guns and not have to bother about starting from lvl 1 again and having to unlock all the guns that you need.

I personally haven't done prestige and people add me because i have all golden guns without doing cage matches...

they mean it's pointless to keep going to lvl 10 prestige because a new call of duty is comming out and you're not gunna bother playing cod 4 if you get cod 5

me on the other hand hates the fact that they went from MODERN WARFARE to VIETNAM!!! so im going to continue to play COD4 instead of COD5

thats going to take forever. if you think its worth it then go ahead. Yes COD5 is coming out but i heard it was going to suck. I don't know, your choice.
