Call of duty online?

i have the PS3 and i have been playing Call of duty online for a long time but my friend cam over and we both wanted to play online so how can we do that it says on the back of the package 18 online i made another account and what is the lan party on the multiply player screen so please how can i do this and what is the lan party

unless you have two ps3 and tvs u cant but if you do just u and ur friend just select lan party

i believe to do a LAN party you need a bunch of PS3s and connect them all. good luck doing that at a normal household... LAN parties are usually for large sponsored gatherings

on call of duty 4 it is impossible to play online multiplayer on the same console. But if you want you can play against each other in split screen mode.
