Call tracing? help!?

I want to trace a phone call I got from someone, but the number showed up as out of area. how can I do this?

call the police if you need help i don't know how to trace them but if it is an emergency, do that

Like everyone else is saying the only way you can is if you get the police and your phone company involved. You should have *69 after they called then maybe you could have got it.

you can not trace a out-of-area number........not even with *69!!

but you can prevent them from calling you using *77!! ACR which is anonymous call rejection!

You can't.  The phone company won't trace it for you either.  

The only way you'll be able to get it traced is if the call involved a crime or potential crime, and you will have to submit this to the authorities.

If the situation is bad i would call the police, i have been threatened over the phone before and it was going on for a while but the polic helped me! The police know how to track numbers down, they'll help you don't worry! :) Stay Calm
