Callaway big bertha's?

What are the differences between the 04 and 06 models of Big Bertha's for men I spoke to an employee at a golf shop and he said the 04 was the better of the two, what is your opinion?

the 08s are the tops...but the 06s are really nice too.  The 04s were great clubs, but the 06 and 08s are even more forgiving.  Try hitting them both and see which you like.

06 has wider sole (area where it touches the ground) and bigger notch weighting (back part of the club head)  >> more forgiving and easier to get the ball airborne.

Technologically, 06 is much better.... now, would this "improvement" be noticeable by a beginner?  Probably not.  :-)

It's kinda like.... comparing 04 'vette vs. 06 'vette...  Obviously, 06 will be faster and nicer....but both are way faster than most cars on the road.

I would say the 08 is the best

it is probably the same price for the used models on ebay

for a lady the 04 models definatly are easier to get airborne . the 06 have a much lower flight . for a senior who also play womans equivlant clubs once again the 04 gets the nod .
