  1. If you want something that is in the middle, I would go with the

    Callaway x-20.

My friend who is a 10 handicapper has it says that he is hitting it in the middle almost all the time because of the big look on the iron.

Callaway Fusion Wide sole is way beginner's club.

Adam's golf ideas A30S is in the middle player's range, but I wouldn't really rely on the Adam's golf.

I am 2 handicapper who "once" had the Big Bertha too when I was a beginner. Then I made a switch to

Taylormade RAC OS2 which was way better with the forgiveness. First of all, you just need a club that is forgiving. which is the masterpiece for the Callaway clubs.

I would recommend to you for the Callaway X-20 irons.

    Hope it helped

  2. Go with titelsit they simply make the best clubs right now.

Adams is good but titelist makes a great mid handicapper clubs that feel Great and very good quality.

  3. There is no comparison.

Callaway are of course the name brand, and you'll pay for that, but they got to be the name brand and have stayed where they are because of the quality and ease of use.

As for the difference between the X20's and the Fusions, it depends on your game.

With the information you've provided though, the x20's are the "something in the middle".  They are easy to hit, easy to get the ball in the air, and they will straighten your ball out.

  4. If you want to get away from beginners clubs, get away from callaway. Adams makes great irons. Personnally though I would check out Mizuno and Titleist. They make the best clubs known to golf. Personally i bought the mx-23's from Mizuno and it would be hard to trade them in for anything. I can tell you the mizuno's are way better than the adams or callaway brand new clubs, and the technology is three to four years old.

My advice is to never buy a brand. Buy a club that feels good at impact, that you hit the ball pure with. If its a broomstick that gets you within twenty feet from the fairway, i know you'd use it. The make and model mean nothing to anyone but the marketing world.

Its only how they feel that matters.

  5. I have played with Callaways for a long time and this all I would buy because of their pricing, technology and service.  I am a 1.2  handicap player and like to go with a proven brand of irons.

Go to a pro shop and ask for some demos and pick the one you like, but Callaway is the brand for me.

  6. Personally I like my Adams clubs but you are the one who has to play them and pay for them.

  7. Callaway is the best of the two.

I also think you should look at Mizuno........
