Called on my day off? HELP

Question

I just got a job today and i worked today even though I wasnt scheduled to work until monday. My question is if they call me tomorrow or sunday so i have to go in even though im not scheduled

If they call you into work on your day off say your out of town for the day.  That's what I do.

ask ur boss about this and inquire why u have to work on ur "off days". i dont think u should  have to work extra days unless they're required.

This is one of the great advantages of caller id and answering machines/voice mail.  You can always let the machine answer for you, and then claim you were out.  Sure, it's a lie, but it's done.

Otherwise, you have to have a good excuse ready why you can't work, and that also might be a lie.

I guess you also should be grateful that they have plenty of work to do, for when you really need the extra $$$$.
