Caller ID in France?

I am getting phonecalls from someone who keeps hanging up. Is there a number I can dial in France to find out who has rung me?

I'm affraid that if the person is calling with a cell phone with a private number, u will have no chance to find out who it is...

If not, there is a web site where you can enter the phone number and get the name of the person, but it doesn't work every time ...

If you're on an ordinary phone dialling 3131 should give the number of the last caller providing they haven't withheld it.

If the calls are happening during office hours it may well be telesales as the software they use often dials more numbers than the telesales person can deal with hence you get a silent call and then a hang up.
