Now, what is with liberals doing this? Im not saying its all liberals, or even close to a majority, but every who does it is one. You claim people are not voting for Obama because he is black. Now this is probably true, but you know as well as I do that for every white supremacist who votes against Obama purely because he is black, there is someone voting for Obama purely because of it. And until you come up with some numbers of racists Republicans(I will tell you that yes, there are some. Not many, but some) as compared to racists Democrats(Jesse Jackson anyone?) then you are spouting total nonsense. You make yourself look like the bigot, calling people racists based purely on being Republican, approximately half the country.

  1. Because, as a Southerner, I know saw a lot of people switch from Democrat to Republican after the 1964 Civil Rights Act. In fact, I was one of them.  In time, I learned to think different and plan to vote for Obama, but I know a lot of people whose thinking has not changed.  These are people whose economic interests are with the Democratic Party, but they think of it as the black party and just can't bring themselves to vote with "the blacks."

Republicans have built on this and have also convinced them that the Republican Party is the "Christian" party.

  2. Gore fended off this primary challenge, but he was ultimately unseated in the 1970 Senate election by Republican Congressman William E. Brock III. In this Senate race, Brock was widely perceived to have won by playing on white voters' fears of civil rights and desegregation for blacks.

ever known Republicans to change something that works for them?

  3. They are just being good little cultists and attacking anyone who is against their messiah.

  4. I have read the book about the failure of Reconstruction in the Southern states. Many black reformers and their Republican supporters (yes, they were then like the Democrats now) were harassed and murdered by white supremacists and KKKs during those times. These people believed until the end that there is hope of racial equality and bright future for the Southern states.

  5. I don't care who they vote for, but the republicans are racist and elitist right out of the shoot.  That's what their nasty little private schools and attempts to kill public education is all about.  That's both elitist and racist.

Li'l Bush's "No Child Left Behind" is a piece of Neo-Con garbage - then he didn't fund it.  So it's built to fail - it's purposely built to kill public education so the rich will be safe in their private schools far far away from real Americans.  Then stupid trailer dwellers are tricked into voting Republican because of the undercurrent of racism in that party.

Do Not Vote For Republicans Anymore!

  6. Gee - don't you know that every citizen who didn't vote for Gore or Kerry would be voting for Obama if they weren't bigots?

  7. Calling Republicans racist is making the caller look like an intolerant, ignorant bigot. When these "educated" liberals stoop so low to spew hatred and names towards those with opposite views, they drown themselves in oceans of hypocrisy. What's worse, if the messiah isn't elected, who knows what extreme tactics they will resort to.

Helios - do you even KNOW why public schools were first created? Public schools developed so children could study and learn from the Bible, thus learning how to read and write. Now, public schools are forbidden from mentioning God, Creation, and Christian principles for fear it will "offend" someone.

  8. Sometimes, it makes people feel better about themselves to criticize others. That's why here you see people just insult the "other" candidate far more than they make objective or helpful comments.

Calling someone a racist because they are not voting for Obama is another way to do this. By saying something like that they can say "There is no real reason they want to elect McCain, they are just racist." Fortunately for them, we know its not true.

  9. Your analogy is flawed for two reasons. First, it contains a phenomenon called Common Sense, which is no longer common, and second, you MUST be white to be a racist. "h****y, White Paddy, Cracker" and all the other things you may have been called by Rev. Wright and the black community do not exist; they are a hoax perpetrated by the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy".

  10. Hmmm then they must all be in my neck of the woods, because I don't know one person voting for a black anything, and we are all Republicans.

  11. It depends where you live.  I live in the south and believe me all the racists here are republicans.  I'm sure the republicans in the north are more tolerant people.

  12. "Would you elect a man with a middle name Hussein?"

"Would you trust Obama into your house? I wouldnt I dont want my stereo to get stolen".

"Would Obama make watermelon the official government fruit?"

"Would Obama make the presidential limo a pimp ride?"

These are just some examples of virulent racist questions your Republican brethens posted since this morning. Now ask me why people are not surprised if somebody call Republicans as racist.

The truth hurts. You sow these, so dont complain if you reap it.

  13. I am a hard core Republican and that is the way I vote.  If the Republican candidate was black, spanish, asian or whatever, it would not matter to me.  I am voting for them because they are Republican and that is all that matters.
