I use Lucky Call 101 888 number to call Germany, but they don't allow calls to South Korea. Does anybody know a good economical way for our exchange student to call home. Our computer isn't set up for calling over the internet.

  1. Lucky Call is owned by Globalive Communications Corp.

Globalive has a portfolio of cheap long distance calling companies.

Here are some other companies owned by Globalive:

    Have you tried LoonieCall?

Calls to South Korea are 6 cent/min

Just dial 1015-565, plus you long distance number.

    Or,

    Have you tried YAK?

Just dial 1010-925, then your number to call.

It is land-line and Yak Canada rate to South Korea is 12 cent/min.

There is nothing to sign-up for, no contracts, no extra fees.... just make the call and it is billed directly through your normal phone bill.

Yak America is quoting only 6 cent/min to S.Korea

  2. Ever look into Skype ? You might be able to buy a phone number in South Korea and then it could be a local call to and from !
