Calling USA mobile phones from uk land line?

USA mobile phone numbers are based on the same system as their landline numbers, using area codes. Therefore it's the same as if you're calling a US landline.

The dialling code (from the UK) is 001, followed by the three digit area code, then the seven digit number.

You should be able to just make the call. You'll need to put in:

00 1 plus the number (omitting any initial zeroes you'd normally dial when calling from the states).

It'll be expensive.

Any problems other than that?
