IMHO of a working adult...

Students go to cyber cafes to play computer games and go to chat rooms only, and nothing to do with their studies...in fact, the cyber cafes they go to are not cyber cafes at all - they are computer games rooms only, wth cyber cfe af a front name....O.K. 99.9% play games only...

I also go to cyber cafes when outstation to other towns to send and check e-mails,  look at news site, etc.   The cyber cafes are quite and with proper lightings...compared to those frequented by students, which are dark and noisy....

i do have own internet access that is streamyx. not 24 hrs tho, maybe 12 hrs perday.. heating probs..

Working Adult:

I have streamyx at home as well internet access ay work. I find internet access a good to have at work as a lot of engineering info can be obtained from the net.

...i make it a point to have 24/7 internet access in my home so tat my kids will STAY at home and chat and watever AT HOME and not anywhere else...and thankfully tats wat they did....i never bother checking where they surf coz i trust them and so far so good....

the operation time is about 11am-4am. Malaysian students go there to play games. only 1% Malaysian students go there to seek information.
