Calling all Restaurant Servers/Bartenders/Cooks?

Question

What is the nastiest thing you or someone you know at work has ever done to a customer's food? Why did they do it?

Many people think this is the norm and spread rumors but it is not the nirmal, nor does it really happen often....mnay restaurants have cameras on server areas, cook areas,  anywhere food is touched.....it is NOT tolerated.I have seen food fall to floor, get washed off with water and heat up and put on plate.....I have also seen people send back a meal because it was "not what they ordered"  , the kitchen hold it heat it and re-send to deiffernt customer.....just they way things go.

Most places are fairly clean, no worse than many peoples home kitchens......

I have been in food industry many years and I still go out to eat with no fear of the food, cooks or servers.....

Oh yeah, I have seen dishwashers, bartenders, cooker, bus people, servers, eat food if it didnt look touched by customer or if they had sandwich and cut in half, the "untouched part" I have seen eaten many times.........when it came back in after table cleared off.

Most cooks have a great deal of pride in their work and I don't think this kind of thing happens as much as we might believe.  It is like an artist selling a painting to someone they do not like, they can not defile the painting.

That said...I have seen food dropped on the floor and wiped off then put back on the plate...MANY times.

And cooks are always coughing and sneezing into the stuff they prepare.

And this didn't happen at a restaurant but someone peed in another fellows water bottle on a construction site...he ended up at the doctor with an unnamed bacteria infection.  When he found out who was doing what...he got a gun and shot the guy dead and now is doing life in prison for it.

Sad huh?

i've seen food and drinks spit in and food dropped on the floor, stepped on then served.
