  1. I am not sure if I quite understand your question but I am still gonna answer it ok.

Yes, we would definitely talk in hindi/farsi or my language Gujarati. Most of the people who come here become westernized and the gap between them and our religion gets bigger and bigger. Dressing?- Most of them start to dress like Americans after a year or so. (like Half Pant, guys pictures up on web without top).

As for me, I am still the same as I was when I first landed at Runway 32L at O'hare. I wear Shirt-Pant. I don't have Spikey Hair. I don't use Hair Gel. I don't hang out with Girls. No Bars. No Clubs. I still listen to my mom. If she ever beats me, I don't say anything. This sort of things, only true Indian can do. It is not in the hand of any Spoiled NRI or American.

Jealousy does NOT stand any chance as far as I am concern. If I see someone new, I should be even happy, happy to know his/her/their reason to be in United States.

Because of the things I believe, I have lost many things in Life, but it does not matter to me anymore because I know what I am doing is NOT wrong at all.

There are some Indians here in US, who like to discourage new comers by speaking English to them and all that. Same thing happen to me, but look, now after 4 years, I am up flying and they are still driving in traffic on the ground.

One more thing, I was never in United States for Money($). I came to US for my flight Training only. I have been in US for four years but heart still lives in India.

What ever I achieved in United States hasn't changed me. If I see some new face, Indian or our brother Pakistani, I would definitely go to them and talk in Hindi or Urdu!

If I talk specific about English, only things bothers me the mots is, I have American Accent. I have no plan at all to live in US after a year. So, I am even trying to learn our Indian Accent.

  2. For how they talk it depends on what school they went to because im Pakistani and developed a British accent because I went to a british school. For clothes they probably dress the way most people do unless they're straight out of the country. For the next three it all depends on how they act and their attitude. Finally for the last two yes they would respecy our religion and no I wouldn't be jealous becuase I'm Pakistani.

  3. I am in India.

i really don't make out what exactly u want. generally whenever u go to a different place, u should respect all local religions, customs and try to behave in a non-provocative manner. Wear normal clothes, speak polite language, tolerate customary differences. There is a famous proverb..when in rome, do as romans do.

For any particular querry, e mail me i would be happy to welcome you.

  4. They would probably talk in hindi/farsi depending on who they're around and if they know any english

They would probably dress according to their age

Outgoing depends on the person's personality

They are most likely highly respectful so they would follow customs but then again this always depends on the person

    Swearing is a personality characteristic

They should respect your religion but if they dont thats again a personality characteristic

I would not be jealous of them... because i know im way more sexier than them (small joke lol)

    Hope that helped

  5. come to India first, and see then comment please

  6. I don't understand why you are putting Indians and Pakistanis, and Hindus and Muslims and together....we are as different from each other as chalk and cheese........It is like saying "all Japanese and Somalians"....

EDIT:  I am a British of Hindu Indian background...I haven't been to India for a while but we are still pretty much Hindunised and Indianised....You may be surprised because if you take a 21 year old Hindu from India and a 21 year old Hindu from the UK, there is not that much difference...They have similar interests, similar ambitions, similar outlook on life and the world.....I have cousins in India and I send them e-mails all the time and every other weekend I am on msn messenger with them....There is not much difference in terms of our personality......I have seem many young Indians from India who come to the UK to work/study and they are just as modern as the average westerner.......

The only difference is that young Indians from India LOVE Bollywood movies whereas young NRIs (non-resident Indians) HATE Bollywood movies....LOL.....This also may come as a huge shock but many NRIs Hindus are actually more devout than Indian Hindus.....Because we are living the UK as a minority, in order to feel in touch with our roots we tend to take a bigger interest in Hinduism than young Hindus from India.... :-)...hope that answered your question.... :-)

  7. well i am egyptian... im muslim too but i live here in america... my father is from egypt and he met my mother she is from america (she is white) and then they got married and had me a gram cracker

  8. well, if it makes you happy....I still eat my

    curry everyday!!

but I don't swear and I never will!!

  9. they would talk with an accent

they would dress with heritage clothes

depends because my family is outgoing

the customs i follow are indian so if they are indian then yes

    no they would not swear

    i hope so

i have an american birth certificate so i would never be jealous
