Calling all life insurance agents?

Question

what is an appointment script you guys use to get an appointment with customers? I have been at it all day and going out in person but it seems when i mention life insurance, final expense they dont want to talk to me. I'm not sure if its what i'm saying or how im saying it any help would be appreciated

Sorry, I just don't think cold calling works.  

I think you should offer free classes at the local library, and make your business card available to the people who show.

i work for new york life and what we use is the mailing list approach it really works.  i make small talk then i say that I'm putting together a mailing list of information designed to inform people about financial decisions.  I tell them "i know that you are probably not in the market at the moment,( that takes the pressure of them feeling sold off) but my purpose is simple one day when you do plan on making those kind of decisions or you need a resource i want you to think of me Rhonda at ____company"  so what would be a Good time to spend 15 minutes over a cup of coffee so i can ask you some questions about what interests you Thursday or Friday?"  giving two days at the end leads them to make a decision its called the alternative close.  then if they say just to mail them info they don't want to meet. tell them you "hate sending out junk mail you have found it to be a waste of postage so you would love to customize their mail out to meet their needs. "  good luck its hard i know I've been there. but when you deliver your first death claim to someones family who barely wanted to give you the time of day you know what ur work really means!

another good one for business owners that are giving you a hard time is "ive never met a successful business person that doesnt have 15 minutes for a new idea, so when can i swing by your office?"

Purchase some pre-qualified life leads. These are leads where someone has mailed back a reply card requesting more information.
