Question

im sure you have all heard of brixton.

ive heard from many people that it is a 'rough area' & that its best to stay away from there.

but i have been there plenty of time..

in your opinion, is brixton a dangerous place?

Yes alhough it has improved lots recently, it is still quite a dangerous area.  Walking alone at night there would not be the best idea...

I guess it is pretty rough, I wouldn't walk about on my own around there late at night.  But during the day  I wouldn't have a problem.  A lot of places in the country are rough nowadays.

Well I grew up 5 mins from Brixton, and we would go there often for shopping, and I never found it as dangerous or rough as people made it out to be. I thought it was always exaggerated.

But now, whenever I visit the area, I think it's rough.

So I think it depends on how often you are there, and what you're used to. Because I was there often when I was younger and didn't have a problem. But I moved away to a much more nicer area (Hampstead) and I now see it as rough.
