please tell me that romance is not dead..what is the most romantic thing you done for your wife or gf..my bf is so dead in that area.. i just want to know that other men are not like that

People are so focused on physical attraction... yeah, I think that romance is dying.  I try to tell people to focus on the friendship aspect of a relationship and I get shouted down.

Sorry, that's not what you wanted to hear.  I'm hopelessly romantic.. and I haven't had a date in so long... I don't want to *say* how long.... that's how long.

Girls today are expected to be part Stripper, part gourmet chef, and still hold down a job.  Oh, and they are expected to be independent and have no demands.

I once printed "I Love You!" In a very large font, which took the whole page, and hung many of them all over the bedroom walls. I also give love notes when I make her lunch sometimes.

I took her on a dinner cruise on a floating restaurant on Cayuga Lake in upstate New York, then to Cape Cod on our honeymoon...I leave her little love notes now and then, and I cook her dinner for her every night.  We're 18 years on our way to forever together...

For our 7th anniversary, we made arrangements to find a baby sitter for our 3 yr old daughter. We reserved a hotel room with a jacuzzi, went and had a nice dinner. We bought us a bottle of wine and had fun enjoying each other alone for the night. We had a great evening needless to say.    :o)

every day I do something special, poems or "I love you written on the bathroom mirror with dry erase markers, surprise flowers at work, I have done her chores as well as mine just as a surprise. Flower on the hood of her car or in her purse with a little note. A surprise 1 night getaway to someplace she likes.please her instead of worrying about myself.

it doesn't have to be a big thing, just a little something to let her know she is the best thing that ever happened to me.

i REGUKLARLY COOK FOR HER AND DO HER LAUNDRY.

hOWEVER, FOR HER bd THIS YEAR, i CALLED HER OFFICE TO HAVE THEM SURPROSE HER ON HER bd WITH A CARD FROM ALL. tHEY INSTERAD SECRETLY GOT HER A CAKE AND ALL SAING hAPPY bIRTHDAY AND GAVE HER A FEW GIFTSD.

i met her after work AND she knew I had set that up....A bit LATER I SURPRISED HER WITH A fRENCH RESTAURANT MEAL WHICH SHE HAd FOREVER WANTED. She got to use her French and loves the language.

Last year I picked my wife up from work on Friday and then drove to Holiday Inn. She asked me what our we doing and I said a friend from oput of town is here that I knew in the  Airforce and I want you to meet him.

Once inside we walked to the suite rm 101 and when I pulled out the card and slid it in the door she said wait what are your doiing with that door key and I opened the door wide and said come inside and look  and there was a big bag from Macy's full of stuff I bought for her and a big sign that said Happy Anniversary and I had a brand new dress laid out on the huge bed, wine in the little refrigerator, finger snacks made from shrimp, lobster tails and hush puppies. I looked up at her and she was crying and gave me a big hug and I told her Happy Anniversary. Lets go out to a dinner now and she said no she wants to stay in the room with me and we ordered out the main meal.

She walks into the bathroom and there were more surprises I had for her, bubble bath, Apple Bottom  body spray fragrance, scented lotion, new  s**y panties and behind the door a brand new evening gown with blue glitter sparkles.

I also had a camera and snapped up the entire night with pictures to remember the most memorable two nights she ever had.

It was better than our honeymoon.  

Sometimes it doesn't take much to please a woman and the total cost with food and everything $532.00

one friday, I rented a house boat had 6 dozen red roses on board and picked up my wife from work, blindfolded her drove to the dock and drove the boat to a private cove. then took off the blindfold cooked a nice meal for her and we just sat on deck and watched the moon over the water no kids no phone just me and her, best weekend of our lives.

Then I took my girlfriend for a walk on the beach and I told her I could make the moon rise for her.

Since there is romance lacking here, I feel you should make a move yourself in that direction.  Cook a fancy candle light dinner and purchase something outstanding from Victoria's Secret.  Wear the outfit during dinner and maybe the tables will turn.
